All these pictures were taken using Meade 2x Barlow and a 10 inch Meade LX200 GPS telescope and a cooled Logitech Quickcam Pro 4000.

I did not fix the chromatic aberration. At the moment I still focus on capturing detailed images.
One month from now Jupiter will not be suitably placed for astrophotography. I will then have many months available to try different processing techniques.
This picture has more detail but is too saturated and has those ugly diagonal lines.

Now that I have the wedge I can make rotation movies. However my pictures of Jupiter are too noisy at the moment in order to make a nice movie.
Unfortunately there were darker surface feature on Jupiter (at the top and to the shadow's left) just behind the shadow transit - so the shadow is not perfectly round.
Here are (just some) unsuccessful efforts taken during the same evening.
So, hopefully if your images look like this, there is nothing wrong with your telescope, camera or processing skills ... you just have not figured out the winning combination for your setup.
